GrowFocus stores core focus and garden progress locally and uses supported Apple services for features such as iCloud and Health integration. Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob also process technical usage and advertising information as described below.
1. Local progress and third-party services
Core timer, garden and progress state is stored on-device or in supported Apple services. Separately, the app initializes Firebase Analytics and records usage events. Google may process technical information, app-instance identifiers and interaction events to provide analytics. This is not a claim that every interaction stays on-device.
2. Apple HealthKit Integration
With your explicit permission, GrowFocus integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and write Mindful Sessions.
- Data Usage: We write completed focus and breathing session durations directly to Apple Health.
- Privacy Guarantee: Health data is never transmitted to any third party, never uploaded to external servers, and never used for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. StoreKit 2.0 In-App Purchases
All subscription management and lifetime in-app purchases are handled directly by Apple's secure App Store infrastructure. We never receive or store your credit card details, payment addresses, or financial information.
4. On-Device Cognitive Training
All performance measurements in the 10 cognitive game rooms (Hold Focus, Don't Tap, Rule Switch, etc.) are computed in real time on your iPhone's local processor. No biometric or cognitive reaction data is ever shared with external entities.
5. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Free access can include Google AdMob advertisements. The Mobile Ads SDK may process IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising and analytics. Availability and personalization depend on the app’s permission and consent flow, regional requirements and Google settings. See Google’s privacy policy and the app’s App Store privacy disclosures.

Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics measures app usage and technical events. It is separate from Apple Health data and from App Store billing. We do not receive your full payment-card information. Contact us for privacy questions; provider-held information is subject to provider retention and privacy controls.
